With the tragic storm that we faced here in Southwest Michigan on Tuesday, May 7, many people have had the unfortunate task of having to deal with tremendous amounts of loss and damage to not only their personal but professional property.

We want to do our part to help the community and make, it aware of what is needed where it is needed, and any help to get the word out about fundraisers or collection drives for those who have been displaced. Below you can submit information and underneath all the different places and ways you can help during these difficult times.

Businesses Offering Help

One Well Brewing- Knowing there are many without power and internet, we’d like to offer up our space starting at 9 am. We won’t have staff available for service till our usual opening at 3 pm, but we’d like to offer our space, power, and internet for anyone who needs it. Because we’re currently having our parking lot paved, we ask parking takes place in the rear parking lot or on either side street. Entrance in our usual front locations.

Michelle's-Portage- Michelle’s on Romence Rd. does have power and we will be open at 6:45 am Wednesday morning for anyone that needs a place to go - eat, charge their phone or just to sit and regroup.

Apex Outdoor Solutions LLC- We are available for storm clean-up! Call us in the office at 269-350-5598 or shoot me a text at (269) 254-2027 if it's an emergency!

East Egg Campus- Complimentary coffee will be provided to all patrons. We acknowledge that numerous friends in Portage will require a refuge, and we believe it is essential to provide crews with an opportunity for clean-up.

Companies In Need of Help

Pizza Hut In Portage- Our Team is working diligently to ensure all of our team members have work available at our other area Pizza Hut locations. We want to ensure that no one suffers a personal financial loss because of this catastrophe. We are not the building owner, so that piece is out of our hands, but we intend to rebuild at that location and re-open as soon as possible. We are evaluating if it is possible to deliver to Portage from our adjacent restaurants. It’s too early to know that at this moment.
