When most people think of a grand opening, they think of a ribbon cutting or a cadre of Chamber of Commerce representatives in hard hats and business suits with shovels. At the Hard Rock, they do things a little differently. The event culminated in the smashing of twenty guitars as the Hard Rock lived up to their name.

Take a look at our exclusive photos of the dignitaries and stars who were on hand for the ritual and video of the Pete Townsend-approved six-string destruction as the $300 million Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana celebrated its grand opening on May 14th.
