An Indiana man is in stable condition after a roll over accident while hunting.

When I think of hunting safety a couple obvious measures come to mind.  Like, wearing an orange vest and keeping your gun safety on when you're not using it.  One thing that never occurred to me is how bad you could get injured while retrieving the deer you just shot.

That is the moment a tragic accident happened in Batesville, IN, a tiny Southeastern Indiana town, just 45 minutes outside of Cincinnati, OH.  Monday afternoon 63-year-old Earl Hagy was attempting to get his deer when things turned disastrous according to the DNR via WLKY.com,

Hagy secured the deer to the rear of the off-road vehicle he was using when he tried to drive back up the incline, causing the vehicle to roll over backward, throwing Hagy off.

The deer antlers penetrated the right side of the hunter's body.  He is currently being treated at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
