Second Person Dies From Injuries In Fatal Crash

Battle Creek City Police received word, Sunday evening, that a second victim involved in the fatal crash that occurred on East Columbia Avenue and Riverside Drive has died from his injuries.

The two car collision occurred around 9:00 PM, Thursday evening, when a car turning from Riverside Drive was struck by another vehicle traveling eastbound on Columbia Avenue. A 56-year-old female was dead at the scene and the man was airlifted to Bronson Kalamazoo in critical condition. A police press release says that he passed away with family at his side.

The crash still remains under investigation.
