Tiger Hitters Quiet Against Arizona

Tigers Face Diamondbacks in Game 2

The Tigers lost 2-1 to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second game of a two game series, Wednesday evening. The Diamondbacks kicked-off the game with two runs off from Detroit’s pitcher, Jordan Zimmermann, but he did an impressive job on the mound, keeping the Diamondbacks to a low scoring game.

The Tigers scored their only run of the game in the 3rd inning.  Alex Avila singled to left and to score Ian Kinsler, making it a 2-1 game.

The bats remained cool for the rest of the game and the Arizona Diamondbacks swept the two game series with a 2-1 win over Detroit.

The Tigers will face Tampa Bay, Thursday evening, in Detroit. Coverage begins at 6:45 PM on 95.3 WBCK.
